I apologise for the quiet on the list. I have been traveling a lot this summer, and a car accident kept me from wanting to stress my body. But now I'm settled and healed...so it's time for a

SUNDAY OPEN RODA

* Sunday, August 26th
* 2pm until whenever (the more people, the longer we go)
* in Dolores Park (19th & Dolores) in San Francisco - look for us on the flat area near the playground or up on the shelf

As usual, this roda is open to all levels, including people who have never played before. So come out, and bring friends! And those with instruments, please bring them! We always have more fun with a berimbau around.

Also, I have just moved to Berkeley to start grad school, so I know that I will be making regular open rodas in the East Bay--so all you Oakland and Berkeley peeps look out for it. Hooray for cross-bay action!

Finally, if any of you want to help me with doing open rodas in your area, feel free to contact me and become an assistant organizer! It's real easy, and I can talk you through it over email.
