So I also run the Portuguese language meetup group, and we're having a BBQ on Friday. I know not everyone here speaks Portuguese, but this is a great place for all us East Bay capoeiristas to meet up and hang out--and who knows, maybe after some caipirinhas a few of us will feel bold enough to play :)

And now, the moment you?ve all been waiting for has finally arrived .... Announcement of the next Brazilian Portuguese Language Meetup!

Ta Da! And better yet, this event involves alcohol! Haha! But don't worry, it?s not required, just recommended .... ;)

The theme for this event, because it's the longest day of the year, is The Longest Cocktail Party of the Year, with BBQ and potluck to boot!! Featured cocktail will be the Brazilian Caipirinha!! Therefore, it'll be at my house. Welcome!

We will have a hot bbq ready to grill your meat, fish, or veggies, and blenders and such to mix drinks.

Public Transport..., the number 43 and number 7 go within 2 blocks of my house, and actually there's an AC Transit that leaves the TransBay Terminal at 6:30pm, 6:55pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm, and arrives 25 mins later, going up the Arlington... What more could you want?!?!?? Ask to get off at Indian Rock Path.
